Hello there! Thanks for stopping by! I’m E and welcome to Suburban Gal in a Small Town.  I like watching Netflix, cooking up new (and old) recipes, reading and trying to act like an adult.  At my house we have my fiance J and my cat Octane. When I asked for Octane’s opinion on the blog he just licked his paw so I’m guess he’s excited. Both boys are a handful (especially together) but I think I’ve got a handle on things.

I graduated from the University of Missouri and will always refer to the University of Missouri as ‘Mizzou’ because that’s what we all call it and it is 10x easier to type out.  I graduated with a degree in Nutrition and Fitness, so I love all things food, nutrition and exercise.  Once in college, one of my professors said people who study nutrition love to study food and eat it, and that is very true.  I just moved in with my fiance in small town Missouri and am planning our wedding for September 12, 2015.  I’m in a huge transition period in my life and it’s crazy, but I’m hoping it will turn out great.

If you’re wondering about the name, check out my first post..it could give you an understanding of my blog.  There are some funny things that happen here on the farm that I was definitely not used to coming from St. Louis so I think hope know you enjoy the stories. And really in the blog-sphere there’s a blog about everything so I figured it mine would make a great addition.

I’m going to write about everything and nothing with a lot of sarcasm and bad grammar (sorry folks, I was always much more of a science person than English).  I can’t wait to see how this turns out!
